Job Description
Seeking a hardworking, responsible, and self-motivated individual with strong work ethic who can take charge with minimal supervision. As a ranch hand, your responsibilities will include property maintenance, fence work, brush clearing and light equipment maintenance.
Ability to operate typical farm and ranch equipment, such as tractors and shredder. General maintenance and upkeep of farm and ranch equipment, vehicles, water wells and troughs, limited brush clearing and planting, maintain roads and fence lines to include brush control. Welding experience preferred but not required. Filling and maintaining feeders and deer blinds to ensure they are ready for and throughout hunting season. Direct and schedule all maintenance and repair activities on equipment and vehicles and arrange for outside contractors and vendors, as necessary. Order supplies, equipment, and maintenance parts when necessary.
Assist and/or guide deer and quail hunts during hunting season. Basic knowledge of cleaning deer is mandatory.
Looking for someone who enjoys being and working outdoors, very hands-on, and able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. Be flexible with hours and availability and willingness to work more than 40 hours/week to include some weekend work especially during hunting season. Must have dependable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
