Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Translator to accurately convert written materials from one language into another while preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent. The ideal candidate is fluent in at least two languages, possesses excellent grammar and cultural understanding, and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, websites, emails, reports, or multimedia content.
  

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in all translated materials.

• Proofread and edit translated content for grammar, clarity, and style.

• Collaborate with content creators, localization teams, or clients to ensure translations meet requirements.

• Use translation tools (CAT tools) and software to manage projects and maintain consistency.

• Meet deadlines and manage multiple translation assignments simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a translator, interpreter, or similar role.

• Excellent writing and editing skills in both languages.

• Familiarity with translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Smartcat, or similar).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop.

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialization in legal, medical, technical, or financial translations.

• Certification from an accredited translation body (e.g., ATA, NAATI).

• Experience working with international teams or clients.

Work Environment:

• Fully remote with flexible hours.

• May involve tight deadlines and time-sensitive projects.

• Communication via email, chat platforms, or project management tools
