Job Description

As Campus Recruiter, you will lead our Western Region teams to build our Clark presence and brand on campus to help to identify, engage, and hire top students for full-time positions and for our summer associate (intern) program.


As part of both the human resources team in our Costa Mesa office and the national campus recruiting team, you will have significant exposure to our top Western Region leaders. In this role, you will lead teams consisting of Clark University Team members who will be accountable to delivering strong results at their respective universities.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with senior leadership to determine hiring goals and craft strategic recruitment plan
  • Create strategy for campus outreach to student organizations and clubs
  • Build long-standing relationships with university faculty and career centers
  • Identify and register Clark for the right college career fairs and events
  • Train employees to identify and interview qualified candidates
  • Travel and attend university receptions, career fairs, and on-campus interview days as needed
  • Coordinate Clark University Teams engagement at college career fair and event
  • Identify and engage in-demand talent and sell them on Clark's culture, roles, and career opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth screens to ensure only top talent moves forward
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, jobsite visits, and interviewers in partnership with Campus Recruiting Coordinator
  • Assist with onboarding and project placement for incoming hires
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment
  • Ability to influence and negotiate diplomatically and fairly with a range of leaders within the organization - promote university recruiting efforts, create strategy, and drive the recruitment process
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system to document, manage, and move candidates through the interview process
  • Ability to evaluate resumes, and assess based on skill set and fit for various positions
  • The ability to prioritize, manage time well, and work closely with the business to quickly address needs and adjust focus as needed
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Passionate about candidate experience including candidate follow up (to both candidates and potentially referrers)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Campus recruiting experience (search firm and/or corporate recruiting is also helpful)
  • Workday and/or Handshake experience
ADDITIONAL
  • Success in this role requires strong relationships and influencing over your Clark University Teams to accomplish the goals of the business
  • This is an in-office position with an optimized work schedule designed to balance collaboration and individual productivity
  • This role reports directly to Clark's National Campus Recruiting Manager

Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $68,000-92,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
